Story:From alt.pave.the.earth, the rival group to alt.destroy.the.earth, as the anti-group for alt.save.the.earth, and in my opinion, superior. This was an actual posting, in a sequence of messages relating to how to ornament the various hypercars people would build when they had paved the entire surface of the world, and could drive as fast as they wanted without such tiresome encumberances as, say, steering. This guy had almost seemed to "win" by suggesting he'd take the last dolphin, chrome it, and put it on the hood. But later on, it was suggested that such a hood ornament would be aerodynamical, and in that way environmental, whereupon it was suggested he just drag the chromed dolphin behind the car instead. Other such issued was wether to keep one or two species of cow for producing cheeseburgers. One species would mean using more than one part of the animal for produce (milk, meat), which would be environmental. Using two species would increase biodiversity. The feeling also mirrors Dennis Leary's "Asshole" song, where he drives a pink 1968 Chevy convertable with whale skin hubcaps, all leather cow interor and big baby seal eyes for headlights.
